![]() ![]() While he was indicted over 100 times, this was the only charge that ever resulted in a conviction. That business largely concluded with Mohney serving three years in federal prison for tax-related crimes. ![]() An elusive man often referred to as the " Howard Hughes of Porn," Mohney was the largest distributor of pornography from the late '60s to the mid '90s, grossing nearly $1 billion in the distribution business between 19. Mohney pioneered the concept of the modern strip club in 1971, opening various "go-go" bars in the Midwest. The company quickly grew to over 300 adult theaters and stores nationally. #DEJA VU SHOWGIRLS LOS ANGELES MOVIE#Deja Vu had a humble beginning when Mohney secured employment in the early 1960s as a projectionist at a drive-in movie theater in Durand, Michigan, later converting the failing enterprise into the infamous "Durand Dirties" drive-in porn theater. It was founded by Harry Mohney, who opened his first Deja Vu Showgirls club in Lake City, WA, in 1985 with partners Larry Flynt and Roger Forbes. The company is headquartered in Henderson, Nevada, a Las Vegas suburb. Its flagship locations in Las Vegas and Tijuana are the largest adult nightclubs in the World. It also operates a large chain of adult retail stores, adult websites, adult production studios, gay bars, nightclubs, sports bars, karaoke bars, restaurants, and has substantial real estate holdings.Īs the largest strip club operator in the world, it is also one of the largest adult businesses in history. Other than that, go to a REAL strip club.Deja Vu Services, Inc., is an American company that operates nearly 200 strip clubs in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, France, Canada, and Mexico. I will give them one star for the smoking area, which has TV’s and looks pretty swank. No attractive women, the only thing cool is the interior. Then, the monotone DJ announces some girls, and then there are their blue light specials. No alcohol (oh.fun) and you sit down and are asked if you want to buy champagne and blah blah blah. But once you pay the admission price and walk in, it’s pretty much just another déjà vu. The interior is nice, I’ll give them that. One look around that area you’ll see a lot of homeless, a whole lot of nothing, and then magically a strip club. It’s like walking out and going ‘did I really enjoy myself? Or did my brain shut off for the last hour?‘ If you can make it past the horrible, industrial area it’s in, you’ve made it farther than most. Then again, I feel like every time I have tried a Deja Vu within Los Angeles county, I’m very disappointed. Went here as a customer a while back, nothing special. They don’t pressure you to buy drinks or too much pressure for over-priced and waste of money lap dances. If only their brains functioned like their bodies they would do much better, sadly. Then they wonder or complain why you don’t tip them. ![]() Most don’t even acknowledge you and will just walk by you several times without even saying «Hi» or anything. The girls are average looking but all crazy like most clubs. Another joke and more deception to make a profit. I saw a total of 8 – 12 girls during this time and only 2 took off her top and bottom making it «Totally Nude» while all the others were in their bikini the whole time. I was there for over 3 hours and from 8: 30− 12 AM. Second, they advertise «Totally Nude» but it’s really not. More girls did come later but it took 1 – 2 hours. Yes, me and they call it a gentleman’s club. I paid the $ 10 then went inside and the place was «empty» besides one girl who came a few minutes later and sat by herself. They mislead and deceive you to make any profits. I asked her if I can take a look inside before paying the admission fee of $ 10 and she said «No.» Now I know why. I specifically asked so I know what to expect, a little. First, the front counter girl tells me there are 5 girls inside. ![]()
